Rules and Regulations



  1. The library is mainly for research. Eating, smoking, sleeping,
    doing industrial work, idle conversation and boisterous laughter are not allowed.
  2. Silence must be observed strictly at all times.
  3. The library must be kept clean and orderly. Trash materials should be thrown properly.
  4. All library materials must be handled properly. Avoid marking, underlining, writing, defacing, inserting bulky objects.
  5. Cutting newspapers and magazine article and stealing library property and other violations of library rules and regulations are punishable by loss of library privilege upon the discretion of the Librarian and or the Campus Director.
  6. Chairs must be pushed back against the table after using and should not be dragged from one place to another.
  7. General Reference materials such as encyclopedias, dictionaries, almanacs, atlases and yearbooks including thesis and dissertations are for library use only.
  8. Books should be placed at the center of the table after using them (for statistic purposes).
  9. Lost books must be reported immediately to the librarian to avoid penalties.
  10. Photocopying of books and other resources is limited only for fifteen minutes.
  11. Books in the library maybe borrowed for overnight use and should be returned the following morning. Fines will be collected for the overdue.
  12. Newspapers and magazines should be read within the library area only.
  13. Always present your library card when doing transactions in the library, that is upon borrowing and using the computers for online research.
