Borrowing Procedures:

  • Teachers may borrow textbooks and other subject reference sources for one school year for every subject they teach. However, they are encouraged to return religiously all borrowed items before the signing of clearance, or else they must secure a promissory note if library materials are returned beyond clearance time.
  • For lost books, Faculty & Staff must replace the item with the same author, title and edition if possible or pay the current amount.
  • Reference, Faculty and Filipiniana books maybe borrowed for a limited number of days to allow other users to avail of the books.
  • Fiction books maybe borrowed for two weeks and maybe renewed for another two weeks unless needed by another client.
  • General Reference, Reserve, Theses collection, Newspaper and Newspaper clippings are FOR LIBRARY USE ONLY. However, a teacher maybe allowed to borrow these materials for special use in the classroom provided he/she returns them immediately to the library after his/her class.
  • Magazines may be borrowed during the weekend and should be returned the following Monday morning at 8:00 a.m.
  • All borrowed materials must be coursed through the circulation counter for proper borrowing procedures.
